Elite Breaststroke Camp
Camp Description

Total Performance offers a unique camp experience designed specifically for breaststroker's. The Elite Breaststroke Specialty Camp is a highly-technical, five day, overnight training program for campers ages 13-18.
With a coach-to-swimmer ratio of 1:7, the camp helps swimmers develop a better understanding of the nuances and techniques of this complex stroke. Swimmers work on all aspects of breaststroke from the kick, turns, and pullouts, to the utilization of the underwater dolphin kick. Campers will develop skills working closely with three-time Big East Coach-of-the-Year and current University of Louisville head coach, Arthur Albiero, as well as many of the leading breaststroke coaches, and swimmers in the country.
Coaches can rest easy knowing their athlete won't get out of shape. Three highly-specialized practice sessions are shorter in yardage and duration, but insure that sprinters maintain their aerobic capacity. Elite Camp staff introduce, training drills, dryland exercises, and powerful classroom sessions aimed towards developing techniques to maximize potential by helping individuals adjust to the dynamics of fast swimming. Swimmers can also choose to be tested and trained on the Power Rack.
