Arthur Albiero
PERFORMANCE EXPERT - ELITE IM SPECIALTY CAMP
Leading the TPSC Elite IM Specialty Camps (on hiatus in 2008 in preparation for the 2008 Olympic Trials) is Arthur Albiero. Albiero is in his seventh year at Louisville and in 2009 won the Big East Conference Coach of the Year award. In his six seasons, Albiero has lead the Cardinals to their highest placing ever at the Big East Championships and has qualified numerous NCAA DI Championship qualifiers.
Prior to Louisville, Albiero spent four successful seasons leading the IM and stroke groups at the University of Alabama and three seasons as an assistant at Kenyon College--where he helped the Lords and Ladies to six national championships.
A successful swimmer himself, Albiero was an 18-time All-American swimmer for Oakland University where he helped lead the Pioneers to three straight NCAA Division II team titles. He also earned three NCAA titles and was a Scholastic All-American three of those years.
